Community Update

Good morning Fallingbrook families!

Thanks to all of our staff who go beyond the call of duty to offer amazing opportunities for our students outside of the classroom. Students are currently having fun with: the Pickleball Club, the Badminton Team, the GSA Club, the Ukulele Club, the Junior Makerspace Club, the Library Club, Acro Roping, the Choir, and Track and Field will be starting up in the next few weeks. Congratulations to Ms. Power and the School Band who once again earned a gold medal at the Kiwanis Music Festival! Hard work pays off for Falcons!

A reminder that on April 8 the Senior Kindergarten (Year 2) and our grade 8s will be having their graduation photos with Carpe Diem. Grade 8’s are asked to wear a white top/shirt. If you don’t have one, we have purchased collared shirts for the grade 8’s to wear, so there’s no need to buy one.

Our friends at Global Daycare, will be hosting their annual Spring Market for CHEO will be tomorrow, April 5, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM in the gym at our school. There will be a large raffle of items donated by vendors, with tickets costing $2 each or 3 for $5 (cash only). Importantly, 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will directly benefit CHEO’s Child Life Department.

We would like to recognize April as Sikh Awareness Month. We acknowledge the contributions of Sikh educators, students, and families within our school communities.

Have a relaxing weekend,

Jeremy Nowiski and Michelle Minogue
